In one of the beautiful Zagorje hills, in the very heart of Zagorje, lies an idyllic local vineyard house "Zeleni Raj" (Green Paradise). It is located in the village called Gorkovec near the town of Klanjec, which is located in the western part of the Krapina-Zagorje County, only forty kilometres from Zagreb
The house is ideal if you want to escape from stress, get away from the city traffic jam and everyday exhausting obligations. It is situated in a quiet location and is suitable for all those who need to rest, relax and recharge the batteries for the upcoming week.
We are offering you peace, relaxation or a variety of activities of your choice, provided by a welcoming ambience of a Zagorje vineyard cottage. We are surrounded by numerous chapels, villages and forests that you can visit at any time of the year, and experience the rhapsody of colours, fragrances and sounds offered by nature.
The whole complex consists of three parts. Two parts date back to 1917, and the third part was additionally built in 2010 and is decorated in a rustic tone so as not to stand out from the overall idyllic ambience of a Zagorje vineyard cottage.
At your disposal there are two bedrooms (2 + 2), living room with a dining room, bathroom with a shower and sauna, 2 kitchens and entertainment area, the capacity of 20 people. The whole house is furnished in a rustic style of the original performance, with minimal adjustments to stay close to the time in which we live. We have paid a lot of attention to the hand-made details that make the entire complex unique and authentic.
We would be glad to present you our family wine cellar and basement, so you can taste different varietal wines and homemade liqueurs. It will be our great honour to introduce you to the proper Zagorje wine and a full range of flavours that it offers. Also, we are pleased to point out that the vineyard where we grow our vines once belonged to Count Erdödy and was known as Erdödy's vineyard.
The house has a large barbecue, bread oven, grill, baking lid and cauldron in order to prepare the various delicacies of Zagorje. The property itself has parking spaces for 3-6 cars, two terraces for relaxation and a small pool where you can cool off during the hot summer months.
Although the house is ideal for spending your holidays with family or friends enjoying the various joint activities, we are offering the possibility of organizing various celebrations such as birthday parties, graduations, christenings, first communions (capacity of 20 people), or you can simply spend romantic moments with your loved one.
Since the owners live near the property, they are at your disposal for any questions and wishes, and if you need help with organizing your celebrations, we will be happy to do it for you.
